Live from New York, it's Saturday Night!

Had an interesting experience last weekend in New York. While there on business, my business associate and I found ourselves wandering around Rockefeller Plaza early Saturday afternoon with nothing to do. Fortunately, one of the remaining synapses in his brain fired and he made a call to one of the folks at "SNL". We ended up getting the privilege of seeing a portion of the rehearsal for that evening's show (hosted by the hysterical Rainn Wilson, a.k.a. Dwight Shroot on "The Office"), as well as the soundcheck for that night's band, Arcade Fire. Not a bad band per se, but not my type of music. Anyway, what an experience it was to be in the same hallways as some of the titans of sketch comedy. Belushi. Aykroyd. Murphy. "Jane, you ignorant slut." Walking though that stage, I got the same vibes I got the first time I was in the VIP room at Studio 54. You know, one of those "If these walls could talk". Truly a great experience.
